The latter part of the year didn't go as easy. I struggled with my ideas. Those times were spent staring at a blank
sheet of paper, staring out the window, or twirling my hair with my
fingers. It’s surprising that I made it
all the way. I couldn't have completed
the challenge without the support and encouragement of the 12x community. Thanks to them, I can happily join them in
this end-of-the-year party.

The main characters of my stories consisted of:

- Only 2 out of my 12 stories have promise (In my opinion)
The good news
PiBoIdMo #7, which
became story #3 for 12x won me an exclusive invitation to submit to agent, Tricia
Lawrence of Erin Murphy Literary Agency!
(Still waiting to hear back from her)
So there you have it. Cheers to

Romelle- I think 2 for 12 is a good rate of return - something to be proud of! You have two (and maybe more, but at least two) GREAT stories...one of which is getting agent attention! That's very exciting- congratulations!

ReplyDeleteLove your characters, your determination AND the fact that one of your stories won you the attention of an agent! I agree with Carrie that two GREAT stories out of 12 is fantastic. It's honestly why we have to write so much. To get the mediocre stuff out of the way so the great stuff can come out.

I love your list of characters, Romelle! Congrats on participating in this amazing challenge...I think I love the connections most of all...as well as the info provided in the 12x12 posts...Julie has done a wonderful job! And the 'dustball' story is intriguing. :)
